Recipe: Scalloped Celery and Tomatoes

Outer stalks of celery
Tomatoes; (canned or fresh)
1 ts Chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tb Grated cheese
Bread crumbs or cracker
-- crumbs
Melted butter
Thoroughly wash celery and cut into half-inch lengths. butter a baking dish; put in a layer of celery, then a layer of tomatoes. Season with onion, salt and pepper. Repeat, sprinkle with cheese.
