Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) Ice Cream, butter almond
5 Eggs
3 Tablespoon(s) Amaretto, liqueur
12 French Bread Slice, 3/4"
Thick slices
2 Tablespoon(s) Margarine
Slivered almonds, toasted
Or sliced
Confectioner's sugar, Confectioner's sugar
Maple syrup
Directions:
Melt ice cream; add eggs and beat until well-blended. Add liqueur.
Dip bread slices into mixture, coating well and pressing almonds from
the ice cream into slices; add extra almonds if desired. In electric
skillet, grill or frying pan, melt margarine to 350 deg F and fry
bread until golden. To serve, slightly overlap 3 slices, dust with
confectioner's sugar and sprinkle with almonds. Serve with maple
