Ingredients:
6 up to
8 tart apples
1/2 Cup(s) Light Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup(s) Sugar
Whipped cream or vanilla ice
Cream
1 Cup(s) Flour
1 Cup(s) Oatmeal
1/2 Pound(s) Butter
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
Directions:
Core, pare and thinly slice apples. Blend crust ingredients. Arrange
apples in the bottom of a 9 inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle
apples with the 2 sugars and top with a layer of the crust. Repeat
layers, ending with a heavy 1/4 inch crust. Press layers gently. Bake
50 to 60 minutes at 350ø. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice
