Ingredients:
2/3 Cup(s) Butter or margarine
1 1/4 Cup(s) Sugar
4 Eggs
1 1/2 Cup(s) Applesauce
1/2 Cup(s) Milk
4 Cup(s) Flour
2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1 Tablespoon(s) Grated lemon rind
1 Cup(s) Chopped pecans
1/2 Cup(s) Chopped raisins
1/2 Cup(s) Chopped dates
Directions:
Cream together butter & sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in
applesauce & milk. Combine dry ingredients; add to applesauce mixture
& mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased
9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until bread tests
done. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Remove bread from pan & finish
