Ingredients:
1 Cup(s) Sugar
1/8 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
2 1/2 Tablespoon(s) Tapioca
Pastry for 2-crust pie
3 Cup(s) FRESH APRICOTS, pitted
1 Tablespoon(s) Butter
Granulated Sugar
Directions:
In a small bowl mix the sugar, salt, spices and tapioca. Sprinkle 1
tablespoon of mixture in unbaked pie shell. Fill with apricots. Cover
with remaining sugar mixture. Dot with butter. Roll out remaining pie
crust. Cut in 1/2" strips with pastry wheel; arrange over fruit in
lattice effect. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 15
minutes; reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake at additional 30 minutes.
