Ingredients:
5 Cup(s) Flour
2 1/2 Cup(s) Butter, softened at room
temperature
1 Cup(s) Ground almonds
1 Cup(s) Icing sugar
4 Egg yolks
6 Tablespoon(s) Arak, or Pastis or Ouzo
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350' Cream softened butter well with sugar & yolks.
Add Arak & cream well again. Sift the flour & baking powder into the
mixture. Knead into a firm dough. Add nuts & knead again. Form into 3"
crescents & place on an UNgreased baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle with icing sugar while still hot. Posted to JEWISH-FOOD
