Hope of Salvation

If you are living outside of Christ there is no hope of eternal
salvation. Romans 3:24 says that we are "justified freely by his
grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus". Ephesians
1:3 tells us that God has "blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ". So if you are outside of
Christ you have no redemption of sins and no spiritual blessings.
Being outside of Christ keeps one from getting into heaven. And
the only way to get into Christ is through baptism: "Know ye not,
that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were
baptized into his death" (Romans 6:3). This is confirmed by
Galatians 3:27 which says "For as many of you as have been
baptized into Christ have put on Christ."

This should cause anyone outside of Christ to tremble in great
fear.  There  are  still  only  two  options for man after death;
heaven or hell. Outside of Christ there is only one option. The
Bible describes God as one who will "pardoneth iniquity and
passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he
retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy"
(Micah 7:18). God wants everyone to be saved: "Who will have all
men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1
Tim. 2:4). The salvation God offers through Christ is available
to all but not without cost. You have to be willing to give up
your own life and "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38).

There is hope of salvation of all and the best part is that all
it takes is becoming part of the body of Christ.

In Christ, Steve Preston
