I've yet to bother with the thread manager, but this has worked for me in
other circumstances.

Try defining your thread entry proc as a function like this:

Pascal Fn ThreadEntryProc
  print "stuff"
End fn

And creating the thread with @Fn ThreadEntryProc instead of with LINE or
PROC.  This will pass by address and still be a function that can accept
pascal conventions.

Certainly can't hurt to try.
