A little further south, closer to the border in San Diego, we use "salsa" with
our spaghetti; gives it a remarkable FB flavor. I downloaded the Highwater
Program that Peter suggested to me; while there I went to the author Lu's
Web-page, an obviously bright MIT (probably graduate by now) student. I could
have been one of his instructors had I decided to go to MIT instead of UC
Berkeley back in 1953, but then I wouldn't be the "rebel" I am now either. All
this aside, Lu mentions that he programs in C and that "Basic" encourages
"bad" (I don't mean REALLY GOOD either) programming habits.

Staz should send him a complimentary copy of FBII as thanks for providing us
with "Highwater" for free. OR maybe the List might do this? I would like to
see his comments changed to reflect a new found "perspective" about "Basic".

What do you think?  &-}
