Hi Joe,
I am not from Denmark but from Sweden.
I have developed a POS program in FutureBasic and a demo is on our Web. But I
don't think it work with US system. (List separator problems)
I have used B-Tree HELPER for FutureBasic as a data base engine. B-Tree HELPER is
a build on B-Tree concept.
It can handle multi data files and index files in only one file. The problem is
that the author dosen't have any support for it anymore and I am looking for a
replacement ( if not anyone over there can talk to Melvyn D. Magree at
(M)agreeable software, inc. Magreeable@... , to pick up the development of a
new version of B-Tree HELPER for FB^3).
Perhaps I am wrong and the best way is to have multi files and multi index files
and use FB file commands.
Until now my program has 33 index files and 10 data files and the total largest
file of a working installation is up to 4-5 GB.
