At some point, these apps have all used not a unique creator code as 
they should for a public release, but the default 'FB3a', thus they 
likely get parented to FB's creator code, but the latest version of the 
other apps.

I just downloaded Absolute Backgammon and it's like this still.

Apple makes registering a unique creator code easy enough at  < 
http://developer.apple.com/datatype/creatorcode.html >

You then need to make sure your BNDL is set to use that, that your 
built app has it, and that you have in OS X, a 'plst' id of 0 that's 
constructed to use that too.
