I have one in my midi program, called PYMIDI…

That framework is listed (due to dragging it there) within the Resources folder in the project, and then I have 

include library "PYMIDI"

I can't test it for a perfect compile, because it's older source and other errors stop it, but I don't get an error when compiling, and I do get an error when I change the name of the folder…so it's working.

If your error is that it compiles and seems to be found but you can't access it during program use, that's a different solution.
