Brian: Actually, I cannot locate a recent review of RealStudio or Xojo that comes from the non-RB background. The tool hasn't managed to expand its market, and some of the RB sites and groups that were active are no longer online. There are the leading personalities, like Joe S. and Christian, but some have left for other companies. I recall when the lead compiler designer jumped over the MS to work on VBA (Office for Mac, maybe?) and other projects. You can locate some reviews of RB 6.x and the first releases of RealStudio. The reviews are mixed, at best. This 2004(!) review is the most recent full review MacTech did of RB: http://www.mactech.com/articles/mactech/Vol.20/20.02/REALbasicReview/index.html Lots of PR releases appeared on MacTech and elsewhere, but no solid reviews. It's like trying to find a complete review of 4D, RunRev / LiveCode, or any other Mac "developer" tool. - C. S. I sure there are other RB reviews which are more oriented to a new RB user.
