Mistake:  This DOES occur if the quoted string is the last thing in the line if there are spaces past the quotation mark.

If one has selected a background color for quoted strings in FutureBasic 5 preferences, a quoted string in the middle of a line of code maintains the background color past the closing quote until the next character.  Example attached:

Doesn’t occur if the quoted string is the last thing in the line.

Again:  EXTREMELY low priority for a fix.   Apologies if this has been previously reported.
