Ingredients:
1 Cup(s) Cornmeal
1 Cup(s) Flour
1 Cup(s) Diced Apple
1/2 Cup(s) Brown sugar
4 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1 1/4 Cup(s) Milk Alternative, * see
note
Mixed with 1 tsp. Apple
Cider vinegar
2 Tablespoon(s) Oil
1/2 Cup(s) Orange Marmalade, or
Other jam), Other jam
Directions:
i.e. Plain Rice Milk, Lite Soy Milk, Almond Milk, etc. Mix all
ingredients in order listed. Put one half of the batter in a greased 8
or 9 inch square baking pan. Evenly top batter with 1/2 cup jam and
top with remaining batter. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes. Do not
