Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) Sifted flour
2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Cup(s) Sugar
1/2 Cup(s) Milk
1/2 Cup(s) Drippings or other
Shortening
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup(s) Applesauce, unsweetened
1/2 Cup(s) Chopped nuts
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Add melted
drippings and mix. Add beaten eggs, applesauce and nuts. Stir only
until flour is moistened. Fill greased 2 1/2 inch tins 2/3 full. Bake
in moderate oven 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. >From Favorite
