Ingredients:
6 Cup(s) All purpose flour
1 3/4 Cup(s) Sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) Baking Powder
2 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
3 Cup(s) Milk
2 Eggs, beaten lightly
1 1/2 Cup(s) Golden raisins
1 1/2 Cup(s) Walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 Cup(s) Finely chopped apples
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat the eggs lightly, add
milk and stir into the dry ingredients, blending well. Stir in
raisins, nuts and apples. Turn into 2 greased and floured loaf pans,
9x5x3 inches. Bake in 350-F oven for 1 1/4 hour or until a wooden pick
thrust into the center comes out dry with no dough clinging. Source:
