Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) Round steak, cubed
2 Tablespoon(s) Oil
1 Cup(s) Water
1 Bay leaf
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Red pepper flakes, to taste
16 Ounce(s) Kidney beans, canned
drained
1 Cup(s) Rice, raw
2 Green pepper, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
1 Teaspoon(s) Curry powder
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
Directions:
1998

Preheat oven to 350° Brown beef in oil in skillet. Add water, bay
leaf, salt and red pepper. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Drain
beef, reserving broth. Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid and pour
all ingredients into 2 quart casserole dish, cover and bake in oven
