Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) Sugar
1/2 Cup(s) Butter
2 Eggs, must use medium
1/2 Cup(s) Buttermilk
1 Teaspoon(s) SODA
2 Cup(s) Flour
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
3 Tablespoon(s) Cocoa, heaping
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla
1 Cup(s) Boiling water
Directions:
Cream sugar, eggs and butter. Dissolve soda in milk, add to creamed
mixture. Blend well. Sift together flour, salt and cocoa; add to
creamed mixture. Beat well; add boiling water, vanilla and mix. Bake
at 350 for 45 minutes in three greased and floured 8-inch round pans.
