Ingredients:
1 1/3 Cup(s) Sugar
1 1/3 Cup(s) Water
1 Cup(s) Seeded raisins
2 Tablespoon(s) Butter
2 Carrots, grated
1 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon(s) Cloves
1 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1 Cup(s) Walnuts
1 Pinch(s) Salt
2 Cup(s) Flour
2 Tablespoon(s) Baking soda
Directions:
Put sugar, water, raising, butter, carrots, cinnamon, cloves & nutmeg
into a saucepan & boil slowly for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat &
allow to become perfectly cold. NEVER USE WHILE STILL WARM! Then add
walnuts, salt, flour & baking soda. Bake very slowly in a loaf pan for
