Ingredients:
1 Salmon, 1 pound
1/2 Cup(s) Mashed potatoes
1 Tablespoon(s) Grated onion
1 Tablespoon(s) Butter or other fat, melted
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Celery salt
1 Dash(s) Pepper
1 Teaspoon(s) Worchestershire sauce
1 Egg, well beaten
1/4 Pound(s) Sharp cheese
1 Cup(s) Dry bread crumbs
Directions:
Drain and flake salmon. Combine all ingredients except cheese and
crumbs and mix thoroughly. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Cut
cheese into 3/8 inch cubes. Insert a cheese cube into the center of
each fish ball and reshape. Roll in bread crumbs. Fry in deep fat,
375=F8F., 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Garnish and serve
